Part A also includes an Interactive Multimedia Training CD.

We have used the very latest teaching methods as well as the most up-to-date technology to deliver to you a vibrant and exciting method of learning your chosen skills.

Interactive computer-based training

At this stage the student will undertake various computer based tasks to become competent in Windows skills before progressing to software specific training.

Students may choose to undertake this section using one of the following Operating Systems:

  • Windows 95
  • Windows 98
  • Windows 2000
  • Windows XP

This section of the course is provided to you on CD together with an instruction pamphlet. (Widows XP is in manual format)

Upon successful completion of the above students will be required to undertake internet skills training before commencing Part B. Details are shown below.

Class based practical training

Students may choose to undertake this course with or without practical class-based training. For those who choose to include practical training within their course, the following details apply: The student will not require practical training before the successful completion of Parts A-C of the course. The practical training is designed to reinforce the syllabus and answer any questions the student may have regarding specific areas. All arrangements regarding the use of a computer for practice lessons will be carried out by the college.
